Nigerian singer, Chinedu Okoli, also known as Flavour, said he is not ready for marriage. He said this in a recent interview on Bounce, where he explained his view on relationships and marriage.
Flavour disclosed that his recent lifestyle and personal references are the major factors in his decision. “ I love girls in the hotel more than marriage”, he said.
The musicians also talked about the importance of self awareness, “ you have to be that person for yourself first, you can then start looking for a spouse. I’m not in the mental state to have a wife right now”.
He said further on his commitment and how his behavior might negatively impact any potential relationship. “ If I tell myself I’m looking for a wife now, I will fail. Any girl that is coming my way I will disappoint her. My behavior will deal with her and it will not work out. “when I look at the hotel and I look at beautiful marriages, I really like it but I like the hotel more because the ashawo in me is on another level” he said.
Flavour acknowledge his appreciation for marriage but expressed a stronger preference for his lifestyle.
