Manchester United has reportedly reached an agreement over personal terms with Matthijs de Ligt, the 24-year-old Bayern Munich defender who is currently on international duty for the Netherlands at Euro 2024 in Germany.
Despite not being a regular starter for Bayern Munich last season, with only 16 Bundesliga appearances, United is optimistic about securing his services.
However, De Ligt is yet to feature for the Netherlands at Euro 2024, and with a semi-final clash against England fast approaching, his international commitments are currently in the spotlight.
The player’s potential move to Manchester United has garnered significant attention, especially given his limited starting opportunities at Bayern Munich last season under Thomas Tuchel.
