In akwa Ibom, police officers detected and arrested 4 citizens disguising as EFFC officials who intended to kidnap there victims and collect a ransom of 150 million naira.
Waheed Ayilara; the commissioner of police who stepped out with other police said they were intending to kidnap and collect 150 million naira from the victim.
The commissioner of police mentioned the people involved in this case;
0. Emmanuel Akpayak who is 27 years old
0. Jeremiah Okon who is 38 years old
0. Promise udofia who is 28 years old
0. Echem weneka who is 27 years old
The person that brought up the idea of the disguise was Emmanuel because he had an overdue bill of 12 million with the victim of kidnap, since he was unable to pay the victim
Emmanuel mentioned that the victim was threatening him for his overdue bills that was why he hired assassins disguising as EFFC officials for extortion and killing of the victim.
