Dell Technologies recently hosted the “Innovate with Data Summit” in Lagos, emphasizing the importance of artificial intelligence (AI), cybersecurity, and data in driving business development. The event, themed “AI Anywhere Data Everywhere,” highlighted the crucial role of data in digital transformation.
Abdelmoultssin Sarsri, Regional Manager for Dell Technologies in the Central West African Region, emphasized that innovation is critical in today’s fast-paced landscape, and that any idea, big or small, can enhance efficiency, productivity, and growth. He cited a 2023 study, the “Innovation Index,” which found that top innovators focus on people, process, and technology.
Hani Khalaf, Chief Technology Officer for Data and AI Solutions at Dell Technologies CEEMETA Region, explained that AI success requires three key elements: data (the fuel), computing power (the engine), and expertise and algorithms (the drivers).
The summit emphasized Dell Technologies’ strategy to accelerate digital transformation and innovation, empowering businesses to turn ideas into reality with the support of Dell Technologies as their innovation catalyst.
