Iron plays a critical role not only in the development & multiplication but also in the activation & function of NK cells when virus infection occurs.
While your Immune Function is your body’s first-line defense against invaders like germs. It helps protect you from getting sick & fasten healing when you’re ill or injured. You can strengthen your immune system by eating nutritious foods, exercising & getting adequate sleep.

Iron discourages differentiation & the triggering of Th1, Th2, Th17, & Treg cells; on the other hand, iron as adjuvant elevates Th1 & Th2 cells immune response.
Iron is a vital mineral in the human body, playing a key role in the production of hemoglobin, a protein in red blood cells that carries oxygen throughout the body.

What is Iron Overload?
This refers to a condition caused by more than enough iron levels in the body, possibly leading to organ damage, heart problems & stomach problems.

What is Iron Deficiency Anemia?
Can be defined as a condition caused by weak iron levels in the body, leading to fatigue, weakness, pale skin & shortness of breath.

Iron is also vital for moving oxygen to muscles, making it important for athletes & individuals participating in physical activity.

Pregnant women need more iron due to increased blood volume and the need to supply oxygen to the developing fetus & weak iron levels may enhance the risk of infections.
