These are headaches of different levels of intensity,often accompanied by nausea and sensitivity to light and sound. Migraine headaches are sometimes preceded by warning symptoms. And they include hormonal changes, certain foods and drinks,stress and exercise and migraines can last for years or be life long.
Migraines may also be caused genetically. And there are also multiple triggers such as sleep deprivation,intake of alcohol,cold weather fronts and pre menstruation. It is proven that not less than 20 percent of teenagers experience migraine headache. The average age for early migraine begins from children of 7 years for boys and 10 years for girls, it is shown that migraine can begin from any age but mostly it occurs in adolescence. There is no cure for migraines but there are many ways to treat it. Some treatment prevent it,some stop the attack while some do both. Chronic migraines are treatable.
