The 39-year-old football star was visibly emotional after his spot kick was saved by Jan Oblak, leading to a goalless draw that went to penalties. Despite the initial setback, Ronaldo redeemed himself by scoring in the penalty shootout, helping Portugal secure a 3-0 victory as Diogo Costa saved all three of Slovenia’s penalties. Now, Ronaldo is determined to make amends as Portugal prepares to face France in a rematch of the 2016 final.
