FORMER FACULTY PRESIDENT AND WELFARE DIRECTOR BIDS FAREWELL AND SHARES VISION FOR STUDENTS

As the academic year comes to a close, the university bids farewell to a dedicated leader and welcomes a new era of student support. Former Faculty President and Welfare Director Of the osun state university Faruq Ayomide,A final year student from the department of french and international studies reflects on their tenure, final year sign-out, and shares their vision for Encouraging a more compassionate campus community for all students.

Today is a bittersweet and memorable moment, Faruq said, emotions evident in His voice. “I’m proud of what we as a body have done even as the former Faculty President, but I’m excited to continue making a difference in students’ lives as the Welfare Director of this great institution.

When asked about their advice to their successor, Faruq emphasized the importance of listening to students’ voices and building a strong and trusted team. “Embrace the role with passion and dedication,” He beckoned and encouraged.

As Welfare Director, Faruq plans to create a student advisory board, ensuring that student voices are heard and valued. Faruq’s dedication and Encouragement to students were more like a Father and his children.

Faruq Ayomide a final year student bids farewell to all undergraduates when being questioned about his believability he admonished that students should show gratitude to their guidance and be Active readers and listeners also doing school hours, putting their primary assignment first before Focusing all time on Recreation and leisure activities.

He furthermore explained the need for students to be more respectful to their lecturers, as being respectful not neglecting your duties as a student, makes you an ideal and courageous kind of student.

On his final year sign-out, Faruq expressed gratitude and enthusiasm: “It’s surreal to think about the journey I’ve been on. From being a student leader to becoming Faculty President, it’s been an incredible ride. I’m proud of what we achieved, and I’ll cherish the memories forever.

When asked about his thoughts on their final year sign-out, Faruq smiled, “It’s a bittersweet moment. I’m excited for the next chapter, but I’ll miss the sense of community and purpose that comes with being just a fulfilling student. However, I know that my work is far from over. I’m eager to continue making a positive impact on students’ lives.

As they embark on this new chapter, we fully hope they continue to be an aspiration and inspiration to many undergraduates out there. “Together, we can build a culture of care and possibility” Faruq said, inspiring a new generation of leaders to follow in their footsteps.
