Taylor Swift personal items is to be displayed at V&N

London’s Victoria and Albert Museum will display some of Taylor Swift’s personal items this month, including cowboy boots, dresses, music awards, and storyboards. The free temporary exhibit, Taylor Swift: Songbook Trail, will give fans a close-up look at Swift’s costumes and archival materials, with many items on display for the first time.

The exhibit will feature 16 iconic looks from Swift’s archive, showcasing her childhood and recording legacy. Some highlights include customized cowboy boots from her 2007 Soul2Soul II Tour and the black ruffled dress from her recent music video “Fortnight.”The exhibit’s designer, Tom Piper, also worked on the V&A’s 2021 exhibition “Alice: Curiouser And Curiouser.” Kate Bailey, the museum’s senior curator, said the exhibit will celebrate Swift’s musical journey and how her songs tell stories through art, history, and literature.The Taylor Swift: Songbook Trail will run from July 27 to September 8 at the V&A Museum in South Kensington.
