Social media has been filled with happy moments at the much-anticipated wedding between Davido and Chioma taking place in Lagos State today June 25, 2025. Whilst there were happy moments, there were also tear-jerking moments as well.Davido, the Nigerian Afrobeats superstar, and Chioma Avril Rowland, a chef and influencer, have been in an on-and-off relationship that has captured public attention since they went public in 2018.The couple got engaged in 2019 and welcomed their son, Ifeanyi Adeleke, later that year. Sadly, he died at age three after unfortunately drowning in a pool at home. Despite facing various challenges, including cheating allegations, break-up rumours, and public scrutiny, the duo remain a power couple that continues to attract buzz daily. The lovers married legally in 2023 and are now gracing it with a ceremony.According to Ola of Lagos, a Nigerian socialite known for reviewing luxury cars, Davido was the first African to bring the 2023 Mercedes Maybach to Africa.The singer and her Lovely wife walk down the aisle on Tuesday 25th of June, 2024 in a beautiful wedding. Chioma in her words said she will marry Davido again 500 times.Her words “I’m not the type to speak about my marriage to anyone or on platforms like this. Marriage is a union between a man & woman and if there is anything to be discussed, it has to be between me & my husband. “ “Well, since this question came up, let me make it clear…. Marrying David is one of the best decisions I ever took. He’s the most charming, loving and romantic man ever.”“No one is perfect.
