The Nigeria police force Anambra state command has taken pro active measure to ensure public safety and prevent potentials violence. According to the report,the police have band the plan July 7th celebration by court groups in the state.
Intelligence report indicates that some courts had masked Sunday,July 7,2024 as their own anniversary, which has historically been characterized for them to cause violence and bloodshed.
The police command has advised such person or groups to desist forth with as the police are saddled with the constitutional responsibilities of protecting lives and properties will not allow such disgruntled elements to refer several games made by the security agencies on taking court -related incidents and shall deal decisively with anyone found wanting in this regard. In a statement issued by the command police, public relations officers,S.P Tochukwu Ikenga, police warned that any individuals or group found participating in court activities will face severe consequences.
