The President of NLC and TUC held a meeting and called for a nation wide strike on June 3rd 2024. This action came up because the FG has refused to meet with there demands over increasing of the minimum wage from N60,000 to N250,000.
The FG quickly took a step and had a meeting with them so they suspended the strike for a week for have meetings together. They had meetings with the FG but unfortunately it ended badly and didn’t have solutions because they didn’t agree to each other during the meeting, so they are set to embark on an indefinite nationwide strike any moment.
