The government has commissioned a new borehole project in the community of Agarawu providing access to clean water for the first time in years.
The project, which was launched on 20th of May is expected to serve over 80 households, providing a reliable source of clean water for drinking, cooking, and sanitation. According to government officials, the borehole is part of a larger initiative to improve access to basic amenities in rural communities.
“This project is a testament to our commitment to the well-being of our citizens. We will continue to work towards ensuring that every community has access to clean water, healthcare, and education.
The community has welcomed the project with enthusiasm, with many residents expressing gratitude for the government’s intervention. “This is a game-changer for us,” said a local resident, we no longer have to worry about where our next drink of clean water will come from.”
The project is expected to have a significant impact on the health and wellbeing of community members, particularly children and the elders.
