Chelsea have appointed Achirou Gaoh and Seyi Olofinjana to oversee operations in Africa

Chelsea wants to cover Africa in the best way possible, therefore scouting and appointments are now complete.The blues has named Seyi Olofinjana, a former Super Eagles and Stoke City midfielder, to a newly created Talent Identification job for Africa.The job is intended to promote and nurture young talent across the continent.Olofinjana, a former Super Eagles player, offers extensive experience to the post, having played for a number of teams, including Wolves and Stoke City.

He most recently worked as the sporting director at Grasshoppers after leaving Wolves.Chelsea’s decision to create this position demonstrates their dedication to discovering and developing young talent in Africa, with Olofinjana at the vanguard of this effort.
