A popular trend on Tiktok called Asoka makeup Challenge which the original sound and challenge started from a verified Tiktok influencer, Portia Wekia.
The word Asoka means one without sorrow, grief, and a person who is very happy. The challenge was inspired by the Indian sound tails, makeup and Indian traditional wear transition.
This challenge went viral and a lot of users from different countries on the Tiktok hoped on the challenge. Alongside the transition, the challenge involves a lip syncing with the Indian sound used for the challenge. Therefore, anyone who participates in the challenge must have learnt the Indian song verbatim for a perfect creation.
Many Nigerians on the app most especially the popularly known Tiktok influencers hopped on this challenge bringing their A game of creativity. The likes of Purple speedy, John merry popularly known as Beauty goddess and Celynukam among others.
The Indian Tiktok challenge not only brought out the creativity in participants , it also communicated the uniqueness of the Indians traditional attire and use of jewelries as adornments.
Also, the Indian Tiktok challenge sound made many Nigerians and people from other countries learn how to sing the Indian song with the Hindi language. Even non participants of the challenge are able to master it and sing the song like its a language they are used to.
