John Cena is a well-known professional wrestler, actor, and television personality. He joined the World Wrestling Entertainment in 2001.
He gained fame through his wrestling career in WWE and has also appeared in various movies and TV shows. He is a 16 time World Champion and regarded as one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time.
He is known for his catchphrase “You can’t see me” and his philanthropic work with organizations like Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Some of John Cena’s most famous wrestling matches include his bouts against opponents like The Rock, Triple H, Randy Orton, and CM Punk. These matches are iconic in World Wrestling Entertainment history.
As at July 6,2024, John Cena made an announcement during his visit at the World Wrestling Entertainment Money in the Bank event in Toronto,Canada that he would be retiring from the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) after working with them for over 20 years.
He also mentioned the reason for his retirement,he said despite his wish to remain involved in the World Wrestling Entertainment,despite feeling physically “at my end”. His Fans reacted to this with a mixture of shock and sadness, and also with a standing ovation while chanting “Thank You,Cena” in reaction to his retirement speech.
John Cena promised a farewell tour with dozens of dates and a grand final fight. He also stated that he’d remain involved with the wrestling franchise that launched his career.
