The official investigation into the death of the late Nigerian singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, Popularly known as Mohbad, has granted the family’s request to perform an independent autopsy and toxicology test on the late singer .
Following the application filed by the lawyers representing the Aloba’s ,on the request of the family ,to appeal to the court to grant them to perform an autopsy on their late child.
The magistrate T.A Sonubi approved the request filed by the Family of the deceased. The application includes an order allowing a private,certified and licensed pathologist to conduct an adequate autopsy on the deceased body (mohbad). Which is ongoing at the Military hospital in Yaba,Lagos state .
The autopsy requested for an Independent evacuation of various samples,including blood,urine,skin etc obtained by the chief medical examiner of Lagos state for the initial autopsy .
The legal team alongside with the Aloba’s rejected the first autopsy results due to unknown reasons and requested for toxicology test.The wife of the deceased Wumi Aloba make a request to bury her late husband but the legal team offered that all depends of how fast the autopsy and the toxicology test could be carried out .
