The late actor John Okafor, popularly known as Mr Ibu, who died after battling an ill health was laid to rest on Friday, June 28 2024 in his hometown at Amuri of nkanu west local government area Enugu.
Earlier of this month, the actor guild of Nigeria had organized a candlelight service for the late actor who passed away on March 2 2024,the candlelight was held at the unity fountain in Abuja, And guest at the event included the presidential candidate of the labour party in the 2023 election Peter obi, and actors such as Angela okorie, Patience Ozokwor and many more. Mr Ibu in October 2023 sought financial assistance from the public to underwent several surgeries which latter led to the amputation if his legs before his death.
