Hotdogs are not healthy food

Hotdogs are a kind of sausage.

Like other processed meats, they are made of parts of animals, chopped, and mixed with water, corn syrup or sorbitol, salt, food starch, and liquid smoke and are blended together to form. Different spices and ingredients are added including sodium nitrate to improve the color of the hot dogs, and improve their shelf life. Sodium diacetate, sodium erythorbate, and any number of other chemicals may also be mixed after which it is baked.

Effects of Hotdog intake:

1) The World Health Organization (WHO) has categorized processed meats, like hot dogs, as Group 1 carcinogens which can increase risk for certain cancers.Eating processed meats has also been shown to increase the risk of bladder, breast, and stomach cancers.

2) They aren’t good for your heart health.Hot dogs are high in saturated fat and sodium. Just one hot dog contains over 14 grams of fat and over a quarter of your day’s sodium allowance.

3) They can increase your risk for type 2 diabetes.

4) They contain lots of pills, unhealthy animal parts and harmful ingredients for preservation.

5)They’re most times combined with other unhealthy foods like mayonnaise which contains a lot of cholesterol.
