Education is an aspect that has the capability of changing the lives, the communities as well as societies. Education is a factor that will encourage both the individual and the society to improve. They hold the belief that development, specifically economic, social and political development, can be efficiently harnessed using this instrument.
Education also gives a break from poverty, inequality, and oppression as well as a shot at a better and improved quality life. It assists people to follow their dreams / find purpose on earth and make a positive difference in society.
Education also enables people to acquire required knowledge, skills and values needed in life.
The effects of education can also be evidenced in the kinds of achievements realized by various personalities who have come out to transform their lives through education.
Education has an impact of decreasing poverty, inequality/social injustice. It enhances appreciation of cultures and fosters tolerance and peace and it also aids in the creation of a society with justice.
However, there are people especially from poor background, and ethnic minority groups who do not get quality education because they cannot afford or do not have means to access education.
More funds to construct more school and educational infrastructures in the rural and hard to reach areas, coupled with child transport means, training and development for enriched proficiency, quality teacher training, recruitment and placement in hard to fill posts, are some of the viable solutions to the problem of inaccessible education.
Evaluating education for everyone will go the further of the person and societies therefore it will assist construct future for our self and generation.
