“Lagos State Revolutionizes Healthcare with Smart Health Information Platform (SHIP)In a groundbreaking move, the Lagos State Government has launched a digital healthcare transformation initiative, introducing the Smart Health Information Platform (SHIP). This innovative platform, developed in partnership with eClat and Interswitch Limited, aims to streamline data management and transmission across all state-owned healthcare facilities.The secure digital cloud platform will enable seamless sharing of patient data, enhancing the state’s healthcare digital transformation. Digital Health Platform Limited, a special purpose vehicle comprising the Lagos Ministry of Health, Interswitch, and eClat, will operate the technology.Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu oversaw the signing of the Concession Agreement between the Office of Public Private Partnership (PPP) and Digital Health Platform Limited, paving the way for the full implementation of SHIP in the state’s healthcare sector.”
