“The Bauchi State Primary Healthcare Board (BASPHCB) has launched the 2024 Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health (MNCH) Week, aiming to reach over 2.2 million children under the age of 5 across the state. According to Dr. Rilwanu Mohammed, Executive Chairman of BASPHCDB, this event is crucial for the well-being of mothers, newborns, and children, and serves as a reminder of the collective responsibility to ensure access to essential healthcare services for all. The week-long campaign, which began with a flag-off ceremony at the Bayan Fada PHCC in Bauchi, aims to provide vital healthcare services to this vulnerable population.”
