Slovenian Cyclist Dominates Race, Wins Six Stages

Tadej Pogacar won the 2024 Tour de France, his third overall victory, after dominating the race and taking six stages. In the last time trial, the 25-year-old Slovenian rider finished first, solidifying his place among the best riders in the world.


Pogacar gained the overall lead on day four and maintained his lead throughout the race, winning six stages in total. Former winner Jonas Vingegaard came in second overall, and Remco Evenepoel took home the best young rider white jersey after placing third overall.


After winning the 2024 Giro d’Italia, Pogacar’s triumph represents his third Tour de France championship and second Grand Tour victory of the year. In Nice, he celebrated his victory and received congrats from his teammates and fans.
