Aju Elumelu, the Deputy Director of Media and Communications for the Labour Party’s Mobilisation and Integration Directorate, conveyed this development.

The initiative, led by Director General Marcel Ngogbehei, was introduced to the National Working Committee (NWC) by the Party’s National Chairman, Barrister Julius Abure.
Abure expressed his enthusiasm and pledged prompt implementation, emphasizing the app’s potential to revolutionize the party’s operations.
The mobile app is designed to facilitate member registration from any location, enabling direct interaction between members and leaders.
It will also help verify membership data in real-time, providing accurate information for organizing ward, state, and national congresses and conventions.
Additionally, the app will assist in managing polling unit agents, ensuring smooth coordination during elections.
Elumelu elaborated on the app’s features, stating, “This platform will provide real-time membership figures globally, showcasing the party’s membership and voting strength.”
