Dr. Adeyinka Adegbite, popularly known as Ọmọ-Bàbá-Tíṣà, has been honoured with the Outstanding Radio Presenter of the Year award at the 2024 Nigeria Christian Appreciation Awards ( NICAA).
This prestigious accolade was announced by the association President, Pastor Dr. Wale Olabode.
He commended Ọmọ-Bàbá-Tíṣà for his significant and inspiring contributions to the growth and development of Christianity through his radio programmes, particularly the widely acclaimed “Irin Ajo si Calvary.”
Ọmọ-Bàbá-Tíṣà, the Assistant General Manager of Fresh 107.9 FM in Abeokuta, has become a prominent voice on the airwaves, using his platform to spread the gospel and positively impact his listeners.
His programmes have not only entertained but also educated and uplifted the spirits of many, reinforcing the power of radio in driving community engagement and religious enlightenment.
In his acceptance speech, Dr. Adegbite expressed profound gratitude to the NICAA organizers for recognizing his work and the impact of his broadcasts.
“I am deeply honored and humbled by this award. It is a testament to the power of faith and the reach out of our message.
He reaffirmed his commitment to continue spreading the message of Jesus Christ through his broadcasts, emphasizing the importance of media in modern Televangelism.
In a touching and heartfelt gesture, Dr. Adegbite dedicated his award to Dr. Olayinka Ayefele MON, the Chairman of Fresh FM Nigeria.
He praised Dr. Ayefele for creating a nurturing and supportive environment that allows talents like his to thrive and excel.
“This award is as much mine as it is Dr. Ayefele’s. His vision and leadership at Fresh FM have been instrumental in our success,” Dr. Adegbite said.
