A natural hair advocate, Damilola Adeleke has driven women to embrace their natural hair and be proud of their hair. She believes that natural hair portray women beauty.
The natural hair advocate stated “our hair is part of our identity and beauty” on 23rd of june 2024, she emphasized on how we can make our hair more radiant and good looking.
She stated that understanding your hair’s texture, curl pattern and porosity to appropriate product and style for the hair by using gently product on your hair like sulfate-free shampoo, conditioner and styling product formulated for natural hair.
She believes that natural hair is a gradual process, she also stated that it’s important for females to feel confident and beautiful just the way they are.
According her, natural hair can enhance our beauty, boost our confidence and unique identity, she urged women to embrace their natural African hair as a part of their identity. The hair advocate stated this while addressing women over the weekend in osogbo.
The event focused on appreciating the beauty of African natural hair, Damilola explained that celebrating our natural hair is not just about aesthetics but a way to reconnect with our heritage adding that it allows us to celebrate African hair, skin color and culture.
The hair advocate said she worn her natural hair for 4 years and she’s happy about it because it connect her to her root.
African natural hair is beautiful and could go in any form adding that natural hair is a gift and not like this expensive wigs
