New Appointment by the President of the Country

President Bola Tinubu has recently made several new appointments. On June 28, 2024, he appointed eight new Federal Permanent Secretaries for various states and geo-political zones.

These appointments include Dr. Emanso Umobong Okop for Akwa-Ibom, Mr. Obi Emeka Vitalis for Anambra, Mahmood Fatima Sugra Tabi’a for Bauchi, Danjuma Mohammed Sanusi for Jigawa, Olusanya Olubunmi for Ondo, Dr. Keshinro Maryam Ismaila for Zamfara, Akujobi Chinyere Ijeoma for the South-East, and Isokpunwu Christopher Osaruwanmwen for the South-South.

In another set of appointments, Tinubu named 14 new Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) for several agencies under the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Investment.

These appointments include Hussaini Ishaq Magaji (SAN) for the Corporate Affairs Commission, Kamar Bakrin for the National Sugar Development Council, Afiz Ogun Oluwatoyin for the Industrial Training Fund, and others.

This move is part of his agenda to revitalize Nigeria’s economic sectors.
